Baby book on the cheap

I checked out the prices of baby books for my daughter who is expecting in Jan 2013 and I found the prices too high and the insides were not so cute so I made my own. I purchased a 200 page art journal at Omer DeSerres and gesso the front and back and the middle spine then painted it blue because she's having a baby boy....oh I can't wait. And since she is doing the babies room in Winnie the Pooh theme, I painted Winnie on the front. I took captions from all of my kids baby book and added a few of my own along with an extensive Family tree that includes all uncle's, aunts, siblings, year they were born and where so that in years to come we won't have to loose this info. Anyhow I presented it to my daughter for her shower and she absolutely loved it.

Latest paintings and one that has done a complete change

This is the original painting as it started with the airbrush below and here is where it's at above. Below are the 2 recent paintings that have sold. The quality of the photo are a little hard to see because of the glare of the gloss medium. I will try to take a couple of shots outdoors I have been playing more with molding paste and gloss mediums along with my acrylic paints. 2 of the paintings have been sold already. The one that has taken a completely different direction is the one that I started with the airbrush and I didn't really care for it...so I started editing out with gesso the parts I didn't like and then I got into the gels and paste. I have to be careful not too add too much because the canvas is starting to sag a bit.
