Happy Easter

This card came out just perfect for Easter.

My vintage drafting table

This piece of furniture was given to me by my neighbor who knows I love old things. It is huge and she no longer wanted. It belonged to her Father's Company a long time ago. It paired well with my old office chair from a Transport Company that we worked at in the 1980's.  My husbands first reaction was no way. I had my heart set on it as I loved the aged patina on the drawing surface. It doesn't exactly move up or down but is on an angle perfect for writing and doing work at. The top surface is dark green and not completely hard allowing you to be able to apply a bit of pressure without making dents. There are quite a bit of score marks most likely from things being cut with an exacto knife. Although I like the wear I try not to wear it further. The top does not open up as it looks like it would. It has two large drawers in the front which I store some of my art supplies. Underneath it has a shelf are with 2 doors which I have since removed. I was intending on painting it ...

Vintage Pink baby bathtub

This is a heavy enamel vintage baby bathtub in a rare, cool pink color.  Unusual find in this condition and color, no major dents, a few rusted spots on the inside.   This tub is in great vintage condition was used and has scratches. It can be used for the baby, your pet, photo prop, pet bed, beverage cooler, picnics, and even in the garden.

Antique Primitive rug beater

This is a large Primitive Farmhouse Antique Wire Carpet Rug beater with a wood handle. I don't even remember where I got it, possibly at an estate sale. It's great for seasonal carpets that get a good beating and a cleaning in the spring and fall. Perfect for Farmhouse, primitive, or laundry room decor.

One of my first Alcohol inks

This is one of my first Alcohol ink experiments. I thought it turned out really nice, and I was never able to get the same effect. I have since given this away to someone who loved it.  It was a vintage white porcelain and took the color very well. I should have taken a photo of it close up to the light as you could still see the light through it.
