I am working on 2 different paintings, 1 acrylic and the other encaustic. The acrylic one has collaged pictures and tissue paper for texture and then built up with some acrylic mediums. I am calling it "the field of dreams". I am not sure where I am going with the butterfly and don't really like the puff paint around it but will play around with it a bit more. I also included some micro beads and some sparkle paint which I may tone down a bit before the final varnish, although it will still show through after the final coat. The encaustic one name "fire and water" which my son started with me last year is still in progress too.
