These are a perfect addition for a Cottagecore, Country or Farmhouse kitchen decor

Antique sewing basket

This sewing basket was my great grandmother's and part of my fascination with the #randomthingsicollect. It is old and tattered but regarded as precious to me. It is possibly the reason why I love to collect anything associated with sewing and notions. I am not a sewer but do know how to darn things. I have made a couple of projects of simply straight lines on the sewing machine but I would need to take a course to be able to do any complex patterns. I do fix the worst holes my grandkids put in their clothing but its a labor of love.  I never got to know my grandmother Meta Forbes. She left after my mothers birth. There were 4 older sisters. The family never knew where she went. My grandfather never spoke a word about her. Possibly she went into a mental institution. We did later in life discover (which I write about in another section of my blog) that he had 3 other children. I think I have ever color imaginable to match any garment. I just love the old wood ones and the labels...

Letter press printers drawers and collecting

These printer drawers come in various sizes depending on the size of the cabinet that the letters were originally stored in which were used by printers for printing presses.  Most cabinets are wood and there are also metal.   The drawers can used to display collections of anything you can think of that would fit into the small sections. I use mine to display school photos, jewelry, marbles and buttons. My grandchildren spend hours arranging the buttons and marbles by color and or size.   I also use them to take pictures of the vintage items that I sell on sites such as Poshmark and Facebook.  Here are just some examples which you can use them for: Source: Etsy.com
