We were robbed in our back yard one year and it is awful to think that you have to lock everything up. Stupid stuff was taken like my wonderful bistro table that I used to sit especially in the morning while having my coffee and of course the 2 chairs that went with it. An old metal watering can, some of my old garden tools, a long extension cord. These were the things I noticed right off the bat but the rest slowly came to me over the course of the next week or so....too many things to mention. Anyhow these were my things and this is not a charity and I was really upset especially when I realized that they may have taken my gnome. I loved it, it's body was set on springs so that it would bobble and to top it off my daughter had bought it as a surprise for me as she said it had my name all over it. I was more upset about this than I was about the wonderful bistro set and I was going to do something about it. I decided I would find my picture that I had taken of it when it was in pristine condition and put posters all over the neighbourhood stating it was not only lost but robbed and should anyone find it to contact me and then I would call the cops........well everyone in the family was telling me that I couldn't do this and it was a little too much. I went outside and started crying while sitting on the steps of my porch, and then I looked up and saw that someone had placed him in the back of the vegetable garden. I was now happy but felt stupid at the lengths I would go to over my gnome.
