Barbara Pagani's Tresor Cache 101

 These were $1.00 a piece. Too bad there was only 3 available. I checked several aisles and nothing.  My daughter told me she paid $50 for 6. She said they are hand blown Mexican glasses.  I am loving it for my mocktails. This is a wonderful lamp with crystals hanging from it. I am going to use the crystals for some projects. There are 17 strings of crystals total. These are the different ones. They measure from 13". to 17" Here they are waiting to be cleaned in a crystal bowl. And in July I found these 3 martini glasses similar to the drinking glasses I purchased last month. I searched the store for the 4th one to no avail. And these beautiful Anchor ⚓  Hocking glasses

 I have done this for several years and been very successful with a 20-30 plant crop all from 1 pot purchased at the grocery store.  This year I may have waited too long as it's extremely hot. I worked transplanting in the early morning and water several times throughout the day. I am crossing my fingers that they take as it was so hot. So basically I take the basil out of the pot, split it all up. The larger pieces are first in larger pots at the outer edge. The smaller ones go in smaller individual pots till they are strong enough to go in a bigger pot. I prepare a mix of bark on the bottom which I got from our local city that provides it for free. Then some of last year's old earth. Then a mix of new earth or top soil mixed with peat moss and sheep manure. I space each cutting approx 8 inches apart. Remember the good ole days of fans when there were nights when no one slept and the only breeze was outside on the porch / balcony so you grabbed a pillow and slept there till the hot humidity air woke you up sweating your head off. Yes these were the days you wished you had a fan, long b4 there was A/C.  If you are old enough to know that, you'll appreciate their beauty.
