1930's Simpsons Elegant Vintage Full Length Crushed Black Velvet Evening Coat.






 
This is an outstanding elegant dress coat for the Opera, Christmas or any special event. 

It dates to approx the 1930-40s based on the wrap style and length and make.


Black, full length crushed velvet dress coat.

Rabbit fur collar and pockets.

Satin ties inside at the waist and inner satin pocket.

One velour covered button closure.

Inner lining is satin and lined for warmth.

Tag is Simpsons. 


Measurements:

Shoulder to shoulder 16"

Armpit to armpit 16"

Arm length 24"

Full length 56" long


Condition:

It shows flaws as expected for a nearly 100 year old

 garment.

It has not been cleaned it or altered it in any way.

The rabbit fur has some wear.

The right sleeve needs a few stitches at the cuff.

The pockets are not fully stitched so items could fall out.

The bottom lower satin has some permanent staining.
