 As you can see they are really in need of a good polishing. Some people like the old tarnished look but I love polishing copper to see them come back all shiny and new. These are so dirty that they are starting to cause pitting. The polished one is the one on the left and dirty one on the right. 

Everything is sale unless one of my grandchildren wants it.  I have several vintage globes that I have collected over the years. Most of them are bigger and up high on a couple of shelves. One of my grandsons spotted this one and fell in love with it. 

This is a 20th Century antique white ironstone mould in the shape of a fish, made by Societe Ceramique of Maastricht and stamped and marked #5 on the bottom. In nice aged condition see photos for condition. There are are few firing faults and age spots, most notable on the underside where there is a repair on the bottom of clay which most likely happened in the firing.  Available: https://posh.mk/6HOhypx2E1b

I recently inherited some watercolor paints in the tube. There were various makes. I signed up for a free course with Vinessa Redford through the National Gallery of Canada. I had a bit of a hard time keeping up on the live course as I didn't go through and check to see if all the paints were good before hand so I got caught behind. From what I was able to keep up with was quite interesting. Here are some of my results which I cut into smaller works and mounted them on card stock and made book marks for my orders on bpagani@poshmark.ca  I highly recommend watching this video on the National Gallery of Canada when it is posted on YouTube.  This is a vintage small adjustable gooseneck magnifying glass on a metal base.  It has a flexible neck for targeted close-up work. This is a pre-owned item and has signs of wear with slight scratches on the glass. This is one of those little randomthings that I fell in love with but posted it higher than I felt it would sell for and it Sold just like that. It was purchased by a Horticulturalist in BC so that makes me happy.

 My cousin Ann and I were visiting my Aunt Joy while I was in BC years ago. While we were there she told us to take something from her cabinet to remember her by. We both declined as we felt we had enough with just her memories of her but she insisted. I don't remember what it was I took but Ann took the Gnome and immediately Aunt Joy said, no anything but that, I got it from Richard, her son in law. Ann was quite shocked and thought she may have been joking but she was dead serious. So Ann took something else. We left and laughed about that Gnome the rest of the day and still do when anyone talks about Gnomes. Anyhow I think I found the exact Gnome today in a 2nd hand store. It's been a long winter. I am done with it. We had ice rain last week and then more snow last night. Nothing too much but enough to wish it adios.  

This stand alone magnifying glass viewing some cast off die cuts done on the lining of the coffee container. Alcohol inks applied and coated with glossy accent. To be put into the Xyron sticker maker. This was $1.00 with lots of sticker still in it. I have the larger one for making my cards so this will be for any tidbit cast-offs. I can use them when packing orders.   

I am having a tough time deciding on selling this beautie.  

The exoskeleton bureau I recently sold appeared on a design show I was watching on Homeworthy YouTube for designer Katie Curtis Designer William Hinn had a shop on Madison Ave and made limited pieces of the exoskeleton bureau. Katie Curtis found hers in the basement laundry room of a building she lived in. It was covered with painted and in bad condition. She convinced the super to sell to her for $50. 

This Poshmark order was delivered by Canada Post and shows delivered over a week ago. I  dropped it off within a day to Canada Post.  It shows delivered to her community box, a week passes and the buyer then gives me a poor rating.   I understand someone lost the order or stole it. But seriously just let me know the buyer got a credit and not give me the stupidity of the positive outweighs the negative on the rating. If Amazon didn't deliver your order when it shows delivered would you give them a bad rating?  Would you expect the person who shipped it is responsible?  Come on think about it.

 I came across this beautiful acrylic painting rendition of Les Duex Soeurs sur la terrase. I will look for an appropriate frame before I decide if I will sell it. It measures 11" x 14".

Located in the Laurentians of Quebec  in the Village of Labelle,  you'll find off the main road,  Quincaillerie Gauthier Enr,  2 Rue du Pont à Labelle QC J0T1H0, a quiant country hardware store.  Closed on Sundays. The owner has collected Antiques and Collectibles  items in the Family privates collection for over 50 years.  If your out in about for a day of Ski, Spa or to a Cottage retreat, its a nice scenic drive to Labelle. The owner, wife and daughter are more than willing to explain the history of the pieces.  This wood cylinder used as the piping system in the village, which was replaced years ago.  This is a wonderful blue green old crate.  The interior is lined with aluminum with holes between the divisions.  It was most likely a cooler of sorts.  Some fantastic old chairs with what seems to be the original paint.  Items are place within the hardware store where you can buy anything from Hardware, Housewares, Linens...
