So the reason why I collect random things is because I believe that everything has a second life. People put items to the curb because it no longer serves their purpose anymore. I believe that someone else would find value in it.  I clean up and paint it and then sell it. If the items isn't something that interests me but still seems in good condition, I drop it off at the local second hand distribution center.  I am always careful what I pick up and leave items outdoors till cleaned and fully inspected.  The other items are things that I buy to resell or keep in my growing collection until I decide to sell the collection.  This is my way of saving the planet with one thing at a time.

Here are some of the random things which I have sold lately. First thing is the Pink Starlite Phone; I was in love with this pink Starlite phone as it reminded me of growing up where my middle sister would spend hours on hers. I believe one of my Aunts also had one. It was the posh thing at the time. Now its cell phones and some kids don't even know what a house rotary phone looks like. It was never good for dialing into a radio station for a contest. You would need the number to come all the way back around on the plastic dial so that you could do the next number. No days it is so easy just to press redial. It was a little easier when the touch tone phones came out but still no redial function unless it was a professional phone that had many different lines. Still we were stuck to the desk and not capable of moving around and chatting. Anyhow, since I no longer have a house line, it seemed foolish for me to keep this beloved phone.
