Pink Starlite phone from the 1970's

Pink Starlite Phone

I was in love with this Pink Starlite phone as it reminded me of growing up in the 70's. I believe one of my Aunts had one. It was the posh thing at the time. Now its cell phones and some kids don't even know what a house rotary phone looks like. It was never good for dialing into a radio station for a contest. You would need the number to come all the way back around on the plastic dial so that you could do the next number. Now days it is so easy just to press redial. It was a little easier when the touch tone phones came out but still no redial function unless it was a professional phone that had many different lines. Still we were stuck to the desk and not capable of moving around and chatting.

Anyhow, since I no longer have a house line, it seemed foolish for me to keep this beloved phone. It has gone to someone who collects old phones. Hooray!
