I used Liquitex spray paints and the new paint markers  Title: Remember me $100.00 I used modeling paste, soft body acrylics and lots of gloss medium & varnish  Title: Field of flowers $75.00

I combined the new spray paints with the new paint markers that I bought this week. I only purchased the smaller ones and got just 4 colours, white, blue, orange and gold which are some of my favorite colours for details. So far I am having fun because I love doing detailed work with markers.....hopefully I can finish the 2 paintings for the exhibition next week. If not I have a couple of other smaller gallery style canvases that I can submit by next Thurs for the hanging. So this is just the draft phase, photos to follow on where I went with these markers. So here is where I started, randomly spraying some of the Liquitex spray paints on 2 separate Gallery style canvases I started detailing with Liquitex marker white first to outline the flowers and then started adding some highlights with some of the other Liquitex paint markers. I have to go back and purchase black, red, green, and yellow to add more details. These 2 paintings were done in memo...

Since my first review of the Liquitex spray paints, I have done at least 5 paintings and I am completely addicted. It is alot easier to work on a painting with just the sprays instead of having to set up my airbrush which takes so much time setting up and cleaning up and then of course my compressor is very loud. So having said all that, I am happy to be painting. This painting is 24 x 36 and it is way too big to put into the up coming exhibition but I will post it for sale when completed on Facebook.

Boy I sure am loving the spray paints.....especially the little splatters. I started this painting yesterday. Today I did some detailing and just added some gloss medium. I will let it dry for a day or two before I touch it again

I am in the midst of a couple of unfinished paintings and varnishing a couple of others for the exhibition. I will ask for votes on which one's should go in the exhibit. I have a couple of other paintings floating around but I will have to find the digital copies and post them. Here are the 2 unfinished paintings.
