My small little corner of the world

Here is my art studio. It's a bit messy as this has been the dumping ground for the longest time. It's a small area and I share it with my dog, Jack , who doesn't seem to mind and a 30yr old asparagus fern that sheds like crazy....now if I could only have some time to do work. This is my very first post on my blog so I'm not really quite sure how it works. Some of my pictures could be a little vamped up but I guess I'll figure it out along the way.
The desk that I work with was a garbage find many years ago when my back wasn't acting up and I carried it upside down on my head....if you can picture that 3 blocks for my husband to ask...."why do you need that". I removed all the paint and sanded it a bit but left it as is for years now. On top is a wonderful antique easel which my sister bought me years ago and it has been used for my breakfast in bed on mothers day. Its a wonderful piece which I have left in the same condition as I got it. You can see behind my door, the portable easel hangs up on the wall when I am doing the bills....yuk!
