The Lachine Artist group had a demo on Monday night which I am hoping will be the turn around in my creativity because I am absolutely amazed at the products and the Artist that gave the demo. The woman giving the demo's name is Melanie Matthews and you can see her video on youtube for Golden Paints:

Here is her website:http://melaniematthews.ca/
She is giving workshops in the Montreal area and if you have even one ounce of creativity in you, I recommend you attend any of her workshops.
We were all given samples of some Golden Paint products which I have been playing with and I can't wait to go out and buy more.....photos of creations to follow...here is the first couple that I did. The first 2 are family photos of my dad & his brothers, sister and Aunt taken in black and white which transfered wonderfully. I used Med gel gloss to do the transfer. The second one is of a photo of montreal transfered into black and white and came out realitively good on a 4 hours waiting period. The last on of Colleen and Tim which was a print in grey scale didn't transfer as nice and I was about to put it in the garbage when I decided to add a little acrylic paint and highlight with a gold marker and then added an old page from one of my older books and then secured it to a canvas that I painted black....It's alot better that the original transfer but not great. I will have experiment a little more.
