I came across this posting on Craigslist in the Artist section. What a great idea for someone starting off with a low budget to be able to decorate their place.

Dear Artist
hi i'm looking for art that you have created and have disregarded because it was imperfect or not perfect enough to put in a gallery, but felt it was too good to be left in the trash unloved and un-appreciated. i am redecorating my room and felt that art from montreal artists is such a unique thing that i vowed to only use montreal artist as my displays. i dont have that large of a budget, as you can see i'm only asking for things that you may no longer care for. But where you may feel it is not good enough i might find beautiful and will proudly hang on my wall or display properly.
please contact me with anything you might be willing to part with for a small amount
or perhaps an exchange would be agreeable, i make female jewelry and could use that as currency if you'd like :)
anyways please send me a picture of your work, i love montreal and i think its artists bring her to life.
