Our new Pug, King Henry

We were thinking of getting another dog to keep our Lab, Blu busy and while at a party several weeks ago, I mentioned it to one of my daughter's friend's and low and behold she called asking us if we were interested in a Pug. At first, I wasn't that keen on a Pug, but I found out that if she didn't find a home she would have to bring him to the SPCA and if he wasn't adopted within 10 days, they would put him to sleep so I said well "let's give it a try" if he doesn't get along with Blu, then we'll call her up and send him back. He arrived last thurs evening and our dog was all over him and I thought, oh no, it doesn't look like a good idea but after letting them get out their ya ya's, they have finally calmed down a bit and are very cute together. Henry is a very smart dog and is listening to almost everything I tell him but I do notice a little bit of a stubborn streak but he'll soon come around when he see's Blu following orders. Anyhow I am happy we made this decision.

Henry and Blu are getting along great. I still have to pull them away from each other periodically for a little break but they really like each other. Blu still thinks that all the toys are bones are his so I give one to Henry in his cage.

Sam and Liane brought the two of them today to Mondou and bought a new blanket for the cage and the cutest thing ever, a life jacket for Henry so that he doesn't sink when we go up to the cottage lake.

End of a collection #Breweriana

For years my hubby and I collected Breweriana items. It started with beer glasses and within a year or two without realizing it, we had over 100 displayed in our A frame window ledge. Then it was coasters from every bar or restaurant we visited. The next level was Beer trays which we eventually sold off. This all started when we were making our own beer even managed to find the old quart size bottles and the cases. As with most collections it grows without even noticing. You know it's out of control when you need to clean over 100 glasses, twice a year. We still pick up glasses, coasters and trays here and there but more for reselling. This is the last bit of the collection that we no longer display and all the coasters have a pin hole as they were mounted in our basement on our barn wood walls. They are in relatively good condition for the next collector to come along and purchase them. Poshmark.ca/closet/bpagani Thank you for checking them out.  update this batch which had lots
