Paintings in the works

This one is still a little dark or maybe because there is no sun I find it dark. I will wait for a nice day to work outside on it.

This is one of my mini 6x12 paintings that actually was turning into a disaster when I was experimenting with the pouring medium but I played around a bit with it and I am liking where it is going....it is still not completed.

Before:

I attempted to add some paint to the pouring medium and it broke down....see the red section

During:

This was one of the first experiments on 6x12 that I did with the pouring medium and reworked it a little....not sure where I am going to take this or if I might leave it alone. I don't like the fact that it seems to be unbalanced with red on the left hand side .

I started working on this one the other day while chilling with my sister on her birthday. She has taken up art with me and I have to say she is doing some amazing work. I will post her progress seperately on another post.
This one started off with High gloss modelling paste, I used my spatula's and some objects to make the imprints and cured it for 24 hours. I wanted to have a very soft look to the center which is a sunflower (one of my favourite flowers to paint) So I started off with yellows and sealed each layer with Varnish medium and continued building up with some darker colours. I will let this sit too for a bit until I can work outside in good sun light

I haven't posted anything on my Etsy store in a while but managing to get some paintings out there anyhow. I have also been busy cleaning up the basement and taking pictures of some of my collectibles that I have down there from the auctions and garage sales. These will be posted on Craigslist by Sept when people tend to buy more on line.

So after playing a little more to lighten it up, I then added some Liquitex paint markers to the relief and then pouring medium which took 72 hrs to cure.
