Claire Desjardins colourful painting inspiration for my new painting

Okay so I am supposed to be finishing my big painting for Justin which I am just not feeling the love for....I tried to conclude the eyes but either they seemed too big or they seemed to small....gesso works wonders and now I am back to a clean slate on the eyes.....grrr!

So instead of throwing a whole gallon of paint at the other one, I started a new one today. My inspiration comes from Claire Desjardins....obviously mine is completely different as usual. I just loved the colours that she used with the black background. I think I may do the pouring medium to top coat it and make it really pop
