How I started drawing

I started drawing when I was younger because we really couldn't afford the Hallmark cards, so I would take whatever paper was available at that time and fold it in 4 and make my own. I am now know for never buying a card unless I am out of card stock or just in a rush, which is rare.

So in my journey of exploring my art and where I have come to with all the mediums that I love playing with, I remind myself of where I started. I must say that it is probably the most enjoyable part of what I do when I create anything just like sketching. I get my ideas for larger paintings from this and now I make at least 2 to 3 cards a week. I have a stash of them. Some I didn't really like, I cut and paste and scan them in various ways. One thing I have never thought of is selling them but I think I will now because they are all different, no matter how many times I think that I re-do the same idea just like the rest of my art work.

Here are some of the latest that I have done this week and I will be posting a few on my Etsy store.

  1. Excellent site you have here but I was curious if you
knew of any user discussion forums that cover the same topics talked about here?
I'd really love to be a part of community where I can get responses from other knowledgeable people that share the same interest.
If you have any suggestions, please let me know.
    Kudos!

  2. I was wondering if you ever considered changing the layout of
your blog? Its very well written; I love what youve got to say.
But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so
people could connect with it better. Youve got an
awful lot of text for only having one or 2 pictures.
Maybe you could space it out better?
