Here is the latest painting that I have been working on while trying to complete the huge commissioned painting which I landed up having a block on. So when I do get into those blocks, I doodle and just have a blast trying to shake off what ever is blocking me. So I brought a bunch of canvases outdoors one day and randomly sprayed them with some of the Liquitex paints which I love but the nozzles clog very easily so I also pick up and extra supply of extra nozzles when I got to the art supply store. Then I pulled out the one's that called to me. There was only 2 of the 5. This is the one that I decided to play with to break my block. So after the spraying and dragging some of the paint with my paint brush and pallet knife this is the one that I decided that I would start outlining some details with my Liquitex markers. I hung it in the hallway (my personal little gallery) and just looked at it over and over.....and this is where I went with it. I am not happy with the white Titanium paint that I used as it left stroke marks and I found it to be a bit globby, if that is even a word.
This will go up for sale in my etsy store soon.
