Playing with Liquitex Pouring Medium and image transfer and Flow Aid Release

While testing different products for image transfer I came across this wonderful picture of my grandson and my son in law. I printed it on my new laser printer and then transferred the image with Liquitex gloss medium which worked on wood. I then stained the wood with different colours of green and blue with Flow aid release. I let it dry for 24 hours then did the image transfer on top. Image transfer doesn't seem to work so well on canvas....believe I have been trying. Then once all the paper was removed, I applied pouring medium on top with the edges raised with some masking tape. It did manage to pour through in a couple of spots but nothing like the rough edges I got previously. Some of the edges were a little rough and raised a little higher on one side. But all and all, I am very happy with the results.
while curing
completely cured and masking tape removed. I will probably have to lightly sand the edges so that it is not rough.
