Poppy painting in progress

Still working on the 30x30 along with the 6x12. I struggled a bit about the positioning of the other 2 poppies and whether there should be 2 or 3. I hear that 3 is always a better number of things when adding something in a painting. Since the first one took up so much room I decided to do a side view only. They I didn't know what colours to do and so I did a mix of colours with orange, white and yellow for the first one and then the second red and white only. I them wanted them to some how look like art noveau style and edited the background green. I am still working that out. I had to walk away from it several times because I thought I might be going to far but it gave me the chance to come back wth a fresh look. I think in the end of it. I will complete the black edging and then outline the green with either a metallic blue or gold. The gold with give some definition. I still have to wait at least 72 hrs for the pouring medium to cure and then details and then final varnish.
I am not sure if I like the colour combination of the orange one but it is still curing so I see how it looks tomorrow

Here I added some more black dots in the center of the poppy
