Craft Show in Pointe Claire Quebec

So today was my very first time doing a Craft Show. I had absolutely no idea how to do the set up and present myself with my art work. Thank God for my wonderful daughter Samantha who helped me bring everything in and everything out and do the set up of the table. I had a lot of fun meeting with all the other people selling their products that they made. I got a lot of tips and trick on how to do better the next time. During the course of the day there was a lot of ideas flying around and it will probably take me a week or two to put some ideas into action. One idea was a wonderful woman who I traded a painting for a hand made purse with remnant pieces of silk from India that we collaborate on me putting together the actual patterns for some tops that I have been wanted to put together for myself and they would be done with the wonderful materials from India. Also another idea was to provide me with some of the silk that either had flaws or slight stains to paint over these areas so that they could be sold as scarves. I am looking at some of the materials and I am already seeing some great ideas for paintings. Another idea came from the coordinator wanting to know if I give courses for the pouring medium and I will be looking at getting a rental of a spot to do this and then try to get word of mouth to put at least 20 people together.

So needless to say, I am up late after having taken a beauty nap on the couch, sorting all these wonderful ideas in my head onto my blog. Developments to follow.

The author of this book was not present for the show because she was in Toronto at a book signing but I mentioned that I wanted to take one of her free book marks for a friends daughter who is an avid reader and got the book for free.

End of a collection #Breweriana

For years my hubby and I collected Breweriana items. It started with beer glasses and within a year or two without realizing it, we had over 100 displayed in our A frame window ledge. Then it was coasters from every bar or restaurant we visited. The next level was Beer trays which we eventually sold off. This all started when we were making our own beer even managed to find the old quart size bottles and the cases. As with most collections it grows without even noticing. You know it's out of control when you need to clean over 100 glasses, twice a year. We still pick up glasses, coasters and trays here and there but more for reselling. This is the last bit of the collection that we no longer display and all the coasters have a pin hole as they were mounted in our basement on our barn wood walls. They are in relatively good condition for the next collector to come along and purchase them. Poshmark.ca/closet/bpagani Thank you for checking them out.  update this batch which had lots
