Experimenting with some new tools, Catalyst wedges and blades

While out shopping with a friend for some ceramic supplies, I came across these Catalyst wedges and blades that are usually sold at the bigger art stores for double the price. I had seen on some of the you tube channels that I follow. I picked up 3 of them, 1 just plain wedge, one with some edges on it and the blade with is not a brush but more like a spatula. They work really well on spreading mediums, paints and varnish. Not so good with inks as the inks have a tendency to absorb very quickly. I was very impressed when I worked on an image transfer how it spreads very well into a crevice. It made the clean up of the edges very simple.

here is the little image transfer I made for my son's girlfriend for her birthday
