How to upcycle pink Alabaster

 I am looking for ideas to upcycle the pieces broke from this beautiful lamp for a friend. It belonged to her Aunt and I am sure she cried when it fell to the floor by accident.

I am not sure if it's Alabaster or Marble.

Most people would say trash it but I can't, it's too beautiful.

I asked a neighbor who does mosaics and she says the pieces are too thick.

I thought maybe a smaller piece could be made into a pendant like the art work of Bella Grey but the look too thick as well.

I looked at the pieces that are broke to see if I could put it back together and it would be difficult but I am sure possible. 

I will come back to this at a later date.
