Technofix Holiday Camping" lithographed tin toy track set made in Western Germany

I picked this old lithographed tin camping ground toy today.
Check out the fantastic lithographed graphics
Its missing a few pieces but so well preserved for its age. I have never seen one like this.
It has little sliders to move the items around.
One of the sliders has damage. There may have been cars that wound up and went along the track which are not available.

This is the damaged slider

This slider is functional. Where there are holes must have been accessories that sat in the holes like badminton net and on the other side umbrellas or signs.

Heres the info I found on the internet.

This is a vintage Technofix "Holiday Camping" tin toy track set made in Western Germany.

  • It is a clockwork-operated toy featuring a scene with campers, a lake, and moving figures.
  • The set typically includes small metal cars and figures that move along the track when wound up but this one did not.

Pictures of Montreal in the 60's

Decarie Boulevard 1961. The  Gibeau Orange Julep , also known as the Big Orange, was built by Hermas Gibeau in 1942. That building looked like  this  in the 1950s. The structure was rebuilt in the mid-1960s when the road was widened. This larger, fiberglass orange is 40 feet in diameter. The Orange Julep drink is similar to that produced by Orange Julius. Both companies developed their foamy orange drinks in the 1920s.
